Lötters Draht has all manufacturing components at its disposal in order to produce high-quality low and high carbon steel wires; from hot rolled steel to coated wire. Only selected wire rods from well-known European steel plants are used.
The coils, delivered by lorry, will be descaled chemically and prepared for the following drawing process at the production location in Germany. Crucial parameters are already set during the heavy drawing. The plant has gas-powered annealing furnaces and multi-strand resistance patenting at its disposal in order to enable greater distortions and to set the mechanical values.
Apart from the bright surface also wires with galvanised, tin- and copper-coated surface can be produced by means of electrolytic processes. The technology which is specially developed for the coating with polymers expands the product spectrum many times over.
Lötters Draht is able to offer high-quality products with short delivery times for customers world wide at any time by strict quality controls and intelligent warehouse systems.
